Our Story
The Story Behind Calicoat Painting
Hi, I’m Marcos Montes, and this is the journey that led me to create Calicoat Painting.
Back in 2005, my late friend Oscar Ponce introduced me to the painting industry. I started from the ground up, learning every detail of the trade. Over time, I specialized in cabinet and furniture refinishing, mastering the art of staining and bringing wood back to life.
After years of dedication, I took on a project manager role at a reputable company, gaining valuable experience in handling large-scale jobs and perfecting my craft. But deep down, I knew I wanted something of my own—a business where quality and passion came first.
So, with determination and the support of my wife, Kassandra Braun, we built Calicoat Painting. Together, we are putting our heart and soul into every project, working hard to deliver the best to our clients. While we strive for perfection, we understand that in this industry, true perfection is rare—but excellence is always within reach.
